Industrial parks look to finance new projects

It is monitoring the ecological development of these zones while promoting a balanced integration of industrial and living areas, Chen said.Output from industrial parks in the city is expected to surpass 100 billion yuan this year, from 74.95 billion yuan ($12.3 billion) last year and 25.6 billion yuan in 2008, he said.Output in industrial parks made up about 49 percent of the industrial output of the city in the first half of this year, with 685 enterprises operating in various parks.Zhanjiang started to build its national level economic and technological zone in 1984. It developed industrial parks in Mazhang, Lianjiang, Wuchuan and Xuwen in the 1990s, which are devoted to specialty industries, such as home appliance manufacturing and farm produce processing.It has added three parks to receive projects transferred from the Pearl River Delta since 2008.New parks under construction include the one on Donghai Island, the Fenyong Economic Zone and five parks in counties and districts for portside industries, Chen said.The park on Donghai Island will house large petroch迷你倉新蒲崗mical, steel and papermaking projects that save logistics costs due to their proximity to the city's deepwater port.Some other parks will house steel, petrochemical and papermaking project clusters along the industrial chains.The Fenyong Economic Zone is devoted to five new priority industries of Zhanjiang, namely those in advanced oceanic development, alternative energy, electronics, pharmaceuticals and new materials. It also acts as a pilot zone in the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.In this park, a centralized supply of steam and fuel gas is provided so that companies do not need furnaces of their own, creating a system that is more efficient and less harmful to the environment, Chen said.A wetland park is planned to help better treat the sewage so that the wastewater discharged meets the top standard.Flower producers and Southeast Asian-style buildings are also planned to boost the park's appeal to tourists, he said.Chen extended his invitation to Hong Kong investors for constructing and operating infrastructure in industrial parks in Zhanjiang.Business giants in Hong Kong are encouraged to invest in the prioritized industries of Zhanjiang, and small- and medium-sized companies in Hong Kong may come in a group and receive professional services, he said.With a sharp competitive edge in logistics, Hong Kong investors are welcome to build docks in industrial parks.Financial services from Hong Kong are needed for developing industrial parks, he said.Financial services from Hong Kong are needed for developing industrial parks, he said.Zhanjiang is also seeking cooperation with organizations such as the Hong Kong Productivity Council for improving services to businesses.迷你倉出租
