BRIEF: W-B woman pleads guilty to bank robbery role

Source: The Times Leader, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.迷你倉Oct. 23--SCRANTON -- Vanessa Ramos of Wilkes-Barre pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to aiding and abetting a Dunmore bank robbery on June 28.According to a press release from U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith, Ramos, 23, admitted she acted as getaway driver for Romeal Price in the robbery of about $11,000 from the Pennstar Bank on O'Neill Highway, Dunmore. At the time, Price, 36, was a fugitive escapee from the Catholic Social Services Reentry Center in Scranton 10 days earlier. He had been completing a 15-year federal prison smini storagentence at the center.Price fled to New York City and was arrested July 17 by U.S. Marshals.
