Derwick Associates Continues to Meet the Needs of the Venezuelan People
VALENCIA, Venezuela, Jan.迷你倉 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- When Derwick Associates was first issued the contracts calling for the development of 12 power plants in Venezuela, it was somewhat of a coup for the relatively new company. It was also a major undertaking that Derwick was able to successfully accomplish.(Photo: photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140110/MN44081)When the contracts were awarded, Venezuela was in the middle of a major energy crisis. The power grid was very much unstable, and many parts of the country were prone to major blackouts that lasted for extended periods of time. The addition of these 12 power plants helped meet the energy needs of the Venezuelan people at a time that seemed quite dire."We were very fortunate to be awarded those contracts at that time," said director Francisco Convit Guruceaga. "It is important to remember, however, that there were not exactly that many companies lining up to get the job done. It was a massive project that needed to be done quickly. We took the project on not only because it was good for business, but also because we viewed it as a way to help the people of Venezuela during a time of need."The other directors of Derwick Associamini storagees, Leopoldo Alejandro Betancourt Lopez, Pedro Trebbau Lopez and Edgard Romero Lazo all agreed with this sentiment. Lazo added, "That is the reason we went into business in the first place: To provide the public with what they need."In the years since, Derwick Associates has continued to serve the people of Venezuela through the efforts of their company. Additionally, Derwick is now looking to expand their business operations to include Spain as well. Those negotiations are still underway."No matter how much we expand and grow, our focus will always be with the people of Venezuela," said Lopez. "We earned our first opportunity here and we became successful here. We will not forget that."Lazo then added, "Any expansion or growth of our country is done, of course, with the people of Venezuela in mind. If we see an opportunity to expand our business while also helping the people of Venezuela, that is what we will always do."Media Contact: Brandon Hopkins, AfterHim Media LLC, 559-871-1613, brandonchopkins@gmail.comNews distributed by PR Newswire iReach: https://ireach.prnewswire.comPhoto: photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140110/MN44081PRN Photo Desk, photodesk@prnewswire.comDerwick Associates儲存
